home sweet home.

just waiting for the day when i have my own place to decorate and call my own. it's so important to make your home warm, cozy and 100 percent you. (and super cute too!) i'm all for collecting as many special trinkets, fabulous unexpected finds and crazy amounts of photographs of the people i love. i can't get enough of the bursts of yellow, subtle uses of animal print, and the wall art/ inspiration boards shown above!

oh hello, my name is emily and this is my blog. welcome! currently, i've been staring at this blank screen wondering where to start without sounding like an idiot (note: i don't know what i'm doing-- yet!) the words "publish post" are intimidating am i right? so here i go--hopping to make something of this blog. for both myself and my sweet readers whom i will have someday...here's to the future: the successes, failures and to finding out what i'm about to do with my one wild and precious life.
