i have nothing to write about...

 

...other than the fact that i'm on my way to the grocery store in search of salted caramel ice cream to eat while watching tight asses and steamy back muscles  mens swimming tonight on the olympics. don't judge.

to the little things.

...and to getting some creative juices flowing again.

i swear it's been the longest week in the world.

if you really knew me.

-you'd know my ideal breakfast is a bowl full of whipped cream and strawberries.

-you'd know that i'm dying  to be adventurous and move away from my hometown, but i'm scared shitless all at the same time.

-you'd know i'm obsessive about curling my hair--even if it's going up in a ponytail. 

-you'd know i have an embarrassing addiction to reality tv.

-you'd know i love the smell of nectarines like it was my job. 

-you'd know 11 is my lucky number.

-you'd know i'm obsessed with the concept of a lifelong girlfriends... and anything animal print.

-you'd know i'm scared to death of needles and anything medical related.

-you'd know i've somehow become obsessed with ice cream this summer.

-you'd know i'd like to find a man who cooks me grilled cheese shirtless.(right?!)

-you'd know i hate confrontation, but am trying to learn to speak my mind.

-you'd know i'm a crazy worrier and i play scenarios over and over again in my head. 

-you'd know i love decorating cupcakes and frosting cookies.

-you'd know if i don't have a diet coke around 3pm every day at work i feel like my life is over.

-you'd know i'm not a confident flyer--turbulence makes me want to get verrrrry friendly with whoever's sitting next to me.

-you'd know i get gray hair. eeeek!

-you'd know i'm stubborn and hate eating seafood.

-you'd know i believe in the power of an eyelash curler and a good push-up bra.

i don't think i'd ever have the guts to pull this look off myself, but a girl can dream.

my sister is on her way home as we speak. that's right.

 at 10:20am she'll be on the ground waiting for me to eat junk food 

and watch under the tuscan sun.

note to self:

i had my first ever dreamsicle yesterday. who knew vanilla ice cream and an orange popsicle make such an excellent combo. really. it sort of made my life in between the crazy clients at work (i swear there's a full moon any day!) and the pressure of bridesmaid dress shopping. 

when in doubt, grab a dreamsicle (and/or a glass of white wine) and you're made.

can't we have it all?

the saga continues.

i swear i continuously have to ask myself why it feels like we can't have it all.

a relationship, time for yourself, friendship etc.

how does one find balance?

time and time again, i watch people drastically change their lives for someone they've known for what it seems like 5 minutes flat. their mantra immediately changes to "we" instead of mixing the "we" with the likes of "i or me." why is that? 

can't we just have it all?

...it's possible right?
